Q: Which NEC version does QuickNEC use?

A: QuickNEC provides reference calculations. Always verify with the current NEC code book, local amendments, and consult a licensed electrician for official work.
Q: How do I enable Inspector Mode?
A: Tap Settings from the home screen, then toggle "Inspector Mode" on. This shows enhanced NEC references and inspector-safe formatting.
Calculators
Q: How do I save a calculation?
A: After calculating, tap "Save as Favorite" at the bottom of the results. Give it a name and access it anytime from the Favorites screen.
Q: How do I share calculation results?
A: Tap the "Share Results" button at the bottom of any calculator result to use the iOS share sheet.
Q: Why does my conduit fill show "FAIL"?
A: Your calculation exceeds NEC Chapter 9 Table 1 maximum fill percentage. Try reducing conductor count or using a larger conduit.

Q: How do I bookmark a table?
A: Open any NEC table and tap "Bookmark Table" at the top. Access bookmarks from the Table Browser.
Q: Can I search within a table?
A: Yes! When viewing a table, use the search bar at the top to filter rows.
Technical Issues
Q: The app crashed or froze
A: Force quit the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, try restarting your device. Contact support if problems continue.
Q: Search isn't working
A: Ensure you've allowed the app to fully load on first launch. The database initializes on first run and should take less than 5 seconds.
